Street & Track Ready Evo X – Live on Bring a Trailer

Here is a modified, 10th Generation Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR with just over 17,000 miles.  This particular Evo X is finished in Apex Silver over a deep black cloth interior with Recaro front seats.  

The all-aluminum 4B11T 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine sends power to the S-AWC all-wheel drive system through a 5-speed manual transmission. The seller notes the best tuning stage for the car is the Pro-Tune created by Robert Baker at Kaizen Tuning, which was tuned specifically to this Evo X and requires 93 octane fuel. Supporting modifications include the following:

  • AMS fuel rail kit with upgraded ID 1000 injectors
  • MAPerformance AFPR install kit with FueLab fuel pressure regulator
  • MAPerformance turbo manifold
  • FP Red turbocharger
  • Grimmspeed EBC solenoid

A SSP 2-piece aluminum undertray with access panels has been installed, and the transfer case received a Stage-3 build by Jack’s Transmissions in Colorado. This work was completed in January 2018 and documentation with warranty information comes with the car. This particular build is designed for street and track use and includes:

  • Ring and pinion gear set – treated (custom made for Jack’s Transmissions)
  • Seals and O-rings (excludes ACD piston seals)
  • Pinion bearings
  • Tighter bearing preloads (prevents gear breakage and wear)
  • Modified ACD clutches (15 of them) to provide more center differential LSD action
  • Pressure testing ACD assembly (checks to ensure piston seals are healthy and fluids do not mix)
