Being a Northeastern vehicle, first and foremost, this particular example is free from any major corrosion on both the body, chassis and floors. It’s in above average condition for the year and miles mechanically, aesthetically and structurally.
The exterior is finished in Classic Silver Metallic and shows incredibly well. There are some light scratches and rock chips thinly scattered around the body and trim, but they do not compromise the base coat at all. The clear coat remains intact and shines up nicely as seen in the photos. All factory plastic cladding is whole, attached and free from cracks. There is some slight scuffing on the lower portions of the front bumper whereas the rear bumper remains free from nearly any imperfections.
All automatic glass, moonroof, door handles, manual locks, mirrors and exterior lights function as they should. The roof rack and roof itself are very clean and both appear to have had little action over the last 12 years. The rear spoiler is clean and free from any major blemishes as is the recessed third brake light. The factory 18” wheels are in nice shape, but do have traces of pitting and some slight scuffing.
The interior is finished in medium gray with cherry wood grain accents and in very good condition. The only stains are limited to the factory cloth floor mats and the carpeting underneath has been protected well. All interior trim is accounted for with the addition of an aftermarket wood grain kit installed by the previous owner. The seats are in outstanding shape with minimal wear to be found. The headliner is also very clean with not a trace of any staining. There are also no foul odors or cover-ups such as air fresheners.
Interior electronics have been tested and all function including the A/C, heat, heated seats, electric seats, windows, rear window vents, moonroof, full climate control, navigation, CD/MP3 multi-disc, bluetooth, electric folding mirrors, fully retractable antenna, rear climate control and built in DVD players in the headrests.
Mechanically, this LX470 is very sound. The next timing belt service is due at 190,000 miles and all other preventative maintenance has been accounted for (see list below). The four wheel drive system was fully tested including high and low range as well as the center differential lock. The AHC suspension system was fully tested and driven in all modes (LO/N/HI) and works perfectly. The 5-speed automatic shifts smoothly with no clunks or issues of any kind. The 4.7L V8 starts, idles and drives smoothly as well.
The factory tool set, two key fobs, one valet key and two aftermarket remote start fobs are included with this vehicle. A Maine Inspection was just performed and is valid through August 2020. The following was also performed in the last 150 miles:
