Stock & Untuned LMM Duramax

This low mile, second generation 2007.5 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Diesel was imported from Canada to the U.S. and holds a clean, Indiana title.  

It’s powered by the 6.6L LMM Duramax Diesel producing 365 bhp and 660 lb-ft torque. Backing this powerful engine is the 6-speed Allison 1000 automatic transmission equipped with a dial select four-wheel-drive transfer case.

This Duramax is equipped with a more rare set of options.  It has the LT1 Package with powered, cloth bucket seats, full crew cab with 8-foot long bed and the Z71 offroad package.  Interior electronics also consist of remote start, power windows, locks, mirrors, rear sliding window, bluetooth connectivity, AUX inputs and XM Satellite radio.

Overall, this heavy duty Silverado is in very good condition.  The exterior paint shines nicely with no fading paint. There are some light scratches and a shallow dent located on the passenger side door - it’s there, but hard to see.   The body is free from rust and rot. The biggest imperfections are the fenders, which have fallen victim to GM’s terrible paint, common for these second generation trucks. The paint did peel and the previous owner primed and painted over the peel marks.  The photos detail this well. Included in the sale are a set of color-matched, low profile fender flares with all attachment hardware.

Some extra accessories for the exterior include GM Wintercovers for the grille and lower bumper, which are great for those sub-zero days.  The rear, roll-up tonneau cover is in excellent condition as well as the aftermarket running boards.  The factory block heater is still intact and works well. This truck is set-up perfectly for New England’s everchanging weather.

The interior is in remarkable shape with very minimal wear.  The seats are free from stains, rips and tears. The carpets are very clean and free from staining.  All factory electronics and gauges work. The headliner is clean and stain-free as well. The full tool kit is still intact under the rear, folding bench seats.

The chassis appears to have been undercoated its entire life.  Fluid Film has been used on nearly all parts of the frame as well as the innards of the door panels, door jams, inner fenders and all the flooring.  To test, a bit of the undercoating was scraped off the chassis and revealed a nearly flawless frame rail (Please see the photo gallery for this example).  There are still some segments of corrosion, but after a thorough inspection, it was confirmed that the frame was solid with no structural deficiencies of any kind.

To make sure this Duramax was ready for a new home, the following work was performed within the last 500 miles:
