2009 Toyota Tacoma SR5 TRD Sport 4×4

Here's a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab SR5 V6 automatic with the TRD Sport package and six-foot bed.  This particular model is fitted with the stock, cowl induction hood, which gives the truck a more rugged and sporty image compared to similar year, base models.  Its stock headlamps have also been upgraded to the Smoke Halo LED Projection style replacements, which offers the truck a more unique appeal.

Overall, this particular Toyota Tacoma would be defined as, "slightly above average condition" for the year, mileage and tasteful upgrades.  The Black Sand Pearl exterior finish still shines and buffs to a mirror-like finish, but there are some light scratches in areas including the lower-portions of the doors, tailgate and front/rear bumpers.  Rock-chips and faintly dulled paint are present on the lower portions of the rear fenders.  A small dent is noticeable on the rocker panel under the rear, passenger door.   These are rather minor imperfections expected to be seen on a pickup truck, but noted for transparency.

The interior is in remarkable shape with no major staining and, incredibly, no rips, tears or cracks in any of the finishes.  Factory, rubber, Tacoma floor mats are still in place and have protected the carpeting from excessive wear and tear.  All gauges and controls work perfectly as well as the aftermarket Kenwood head-unit, which ads modern functionalities like bluetooth, integrated phone, Apple AirPlay and AUX/USB inputs.  This Tacoma is also equipped with a factory installed back-up camera, which appears in the rearview mirror.

We had the chassis and suspension components thoroughly inspected on this Tacoma.  This example has not fallen victim to extreme frame corrosion/rot issues like other cold-climate trucks.  All suspension components are solid and within factory specifications and new leaf-springs, u-bolts and mounts were installed in the rear due to a manufacturer recall.

As expected with a Toyota, all mechanics are running perfectly and are up-to-date on maintenance.  The engine starts, idles and drives smoothly and quietly, the transmission engages into all gears flawlessly and the auto-locking four-wheel-drive grips and locks into all stages without hesitation.
