Power comes from Volvo’s T5 inline 5 cylinder turbo engine, which produces 236 hp in this particular configuration and is backed by the 5-speed Geartronic automatic. There is no hesitation or roughness to the idle or shifting in this C30R and the turbo spools perfectly.
The exterior is finished in Titanium Grey Metallic and shows very well. The most notable imperfections are scuffs on the driver’s side rear fender and a small scratch on the hood. The clear coat is still fully intact and corrosion is non-existent. The 18-inch Cratus aluminium wheels were just refinished to oem quality and wrapped with brand new Cooper RS3-G1 tires. All glass is free from pits and cracks and appears to be original to the car.
The interior shows very minimal wear, mostly isolated to the driver’s seat in the form of small cracks and fraying thread. The textile floor mats have protected the carpeting very well as there is virtually no wear or staining to be found throughout. The seats are finished in Volvo’s off-black Flex-Tec leather embossed the R-Design insignia with no signs of rips or tears.
All interior electronics function as intended including the premium sound system, windows, power locks, AUX inputs, moonroof, cruise control and steering wheel controls. The instrument panel gauges function and read correctly with no check engine lights illuminated or pending/stored codes.
The sport chassis is as clean as the rest of this C30R with no rust concerns what-so-ever. The brake pads and rotors were just replaced in December 2018 and have an estimated 500 miles on them since the service. There isn’t a single leak underneath or within the engine bay.
