A Rally-Ready Ford Focus? 

Using the term rally and ford focus in the same sentence didn't seem right until we found ourselves behind the wheel of this 2013 ford focus st equipped with a 252hp, 2.0L ecoboost turbo engine and six-speed manual transmission.

The only thing the Ford Focus ST and the run-of-the-mill Ford Focus Hatchback have in common is the "Focus" badge.  The rest of the ST package is completely unique from exterior styling, interior finishes and driver controls, to, most importantly, the powertrain.

For starters, this ST is powered by Ford's turbo-charged, 2.0L Ecoboost, inline four cylinder engine backed by the six-speed manual IMMT6 B6 transmission.  These two components work together to produce just over 270lb-ft of torque and reaches a top speed of 155mph.

This specific specimen was a customer trade-in, a mechanic, who habitually performed factory recommended maintenance without missing a beat.  Recent work includes new tires, brakes and rotors, full-synthetic oil and FLUID FILM undercoating.

The Oxford White exterior of this 2013 Ford Focus ST is in very nice condition with only minor scratches and rock-chips on the front bumper and a thin scratch on the rear bumper.  The paint cleans up well and shines nearly to its original factory finish.  All lights, trim and door handles are intact and operate as they should.

Some notable exterior and performance upgrades are Rally Armour mud flaps, rubber coated wheels with clear glaze and a stainless steel, polished tip exhaust system from MagnaFlow.  A Turbosmart blow off valve is also installed.

The interior of this ST has been very well preserved with only minor hints of wear on the driver's seat and kick plates at the lower portions of the driver's door jam.  All gauges and electronics work flawlessly including Ford's Sync audio system.  All factory floor mats, literature and tools are also still in place and appear to be untouched.

The engine bay and chassis are free from leaks, corrosion and appear to have been regularly cleaned.  There are no engine codes or malfunction of any kind.

This rally-esque Ford Focus ST completely blew us away from both a performance and comfort/drivability stand-point.  The seats fit a 6'3" person with enough leg-room and headroom for long-driving comfort and it shifts unbelievably well compared to other makes out there.  It's one of the most fun vehicles we've driven to date.
