Clean, One Owner GMT-K2XX

2014 marked the first year of the GMT-K2XX platform, which is the same chassis available on GM’s 2019 model year trucks.   

Here’s a very clean, third generation Chevrolet Silverado LT Z71 powered by GM’s 355 hp 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 backed by the 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission and multi-select transfer case.

The Deep Ruby Metallic exterior of this accident-free, one owner Silverado is in very nice condition.  There are some subtle scratches and a very small ding on the passenger side front fender, but other than those very minute imperfections, the body shows extremely well.  The front and rear chrome bumpers are dent and corrosion-free as are the aluminium wheels. All trim is intact and free from discoloration and cracks.

The Stealth Black interior has been well-kept with the most notable imperfections resting on the driver’s seat bolster.  There is a small tear in the rear portion of the bolster’s fabric, but it’s very hard to see in the photos. The rest of the cabin has average wear for the year and is free from major staining, rips, tears and cracks.  All electronics work as they should, including interior and exterior lighting, power windows, power locks, power seat, Bluetooth, USB/Aux inputs, Satellite Radio, A/C, heat and remote start.

The chassis and engine bay are in great condition and free from major corrosion.  There are no leaks present in or under this Silverado. All skid plates are undamaged and free from dents and scratches.  The brakes and exhaust system are in good shape as are all the brake and fuel lines. This truck just passed Maine’s Safety Inspection without issue and is valid until June 2019.

Driveability wise, this truck is very smooth.  It shifts through all gears flawlessly and starts and idles without hesitation.  The four-wheel-drive engages and disengages from all selection modes and “auto” 4WD works great.  The EcoTech3 V8 transitions from 8 to 4 and back to 8 cylinders perfectly and has been averaging between 19-21 mpg.

All-in-all, this truck has been great.  It’s currently up to date on all scheduled maintenance and ready to drive another 150K.
